Bryan Singer has announced that X-Men Apocalypse releasing date is set for May 27, 2016; the American superhero movie is the sequel to the X-Men: Days of Future Past. The previous movie has made a $748M worldwide and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects.
Simon Kinberg is writing the screenplay for the movie, also the cast of stars including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Olivia Munn and many more are set to start at the new sequel.
Channing Tatum made an apperance in the Hall H on Saturday at the 20th Century Fox Panel to announce that he will take part in the movie, and took a selfie with the cast.
The director revealed that the film will focus on the origin and show the younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm. He also said that the movie is set 20 years before 2000’s X-Men.
X-Men Apocalypse principle shots started in Montreal Canada on April 2015.
